Mackenzie announced the pregnancy in March 2025 on The Drew Barrymore Show. Khesanio was not on hand for the announcement. Instead, Briana DeJesus, a Teen Mom: The Next Chapter cast member, accompanied Mackenzie on the show. Khesanio, who proposed to McKee in an emotional beachside moment in 2024, was the driving force behind the couple’s decision to explore IVF. Their journey was featured on the series.

Mackenzie McKee has three children from a previous marriage. She welcomed her first son, Gannon McKee, in 2011. Her daughter, Jaxie McKee, was born in 2014. Two years later, Mackenzie welcomed Broncs, a baby boy she assumed would be her last. She opted for a tubal ligation following his birth. She and Josh McKee split in 2022 after years of tension and cheating allegations. They finalized their divorce later the same year. He has limited interactions with the children they share.

Mackenzie and Khesanio met in December 2022. The duo announced their engagement in June 2024. Khesanio has no other children and has never been married. They have not yet announced a wedding date.
