Mariah Carey and Eminem have been feuding for years. The pair’s relationship soured after Eminem claimed they dated, which Carey firmly denied. They’ve written songs about each other over the years and have shaded one another in interviews. When Carey was asked to bury the hatchet and list three positive things about the rapper, she responded in the best way possible.

Over the next several years, they traded jabs through song. Notably, in Carey’s music video for her 2009 song “Obsessed,” she dressed as someone who resembled the rapper.

In a conversation on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Carey to set the feud aside and list three positive things about Eminem. 

“They come in a package that you can carry wherever you go,” she said. “Everybody loves them around the world. And they’re tasty. Peanut, and you can have the regular kind.”

The audience exploded into laughter as she spoke. Even years later, people have celebrated the way she used the question to talk about the candy instead of the rapper.
