Matchmaker Called Out Red Flags in Megan Fox and MGK’s ‘Toxic’ Relationship
Over a year after their breakup, people are wondering if Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) have plans to reunite. MGK recently commented on one of Fox’s Instagram posts. While some sources say their relationship is about coparenting, others say MGK would like a second chance. A matchmaker weighed in on the couple’s dynamic.
MGK is reportedly trying to get back with Megan Fox
MGK recently commented on one of Fox’s Instagram photos. Fox posted a series of images to her account, prompting MFK to comment, “stoked i have your phone number.” This led some to wonder if the couple, who broke up in late 2024, were back together. A source said that MGK was the reason the relationship fell apart in the first place.
“He’s addicted to chaos … and being an instigator,” a source told Star. “That ‘anything goes’ attitude plays fine on the concert stage and in the recording studio, where he’s been rewarded for taking big, counter-intuitive risks, but in a romantic relationship, it’s poisonous.”
They noted that he will need to make changes if he wants to reunite with his former fiancée.
“Change doesn’t happen overnight, but if MGK really wants a shot at long-term happiness, with Megan or anybody else, he has to show that change is underway and it’s real,” they said. “Knowing MGK, I just don’t think he’s there yet.”
A matchmaker once weighed in on their relationship
Even while the couple was still together, matchmaker Susan Trombetti didn’t anticipate that they would last.
“This relationship seems very toxic and is not a good example of relationship goals,” she told Glam. “It was so publicly hot and heavy, and her droplets of blood that he wears around his neck seem reminiscent of Angelina [Jolie] and Billy Bob Thornton; we all know how that turned out.”
She noted that their stalled marriage plans spelled trouble for the couple.
“[B]eing unable to move forward should tell them this relationship might not be the right relationship for them,” she said.
Other sources say MGK and Megan Fox focus on coparenting
While some of the couple’s fans are hoping to see a reunion, sources claim that this isn’t likely. One source told People that they “haven’t been together in a real way for a long time now and whatever they had romantically is done.”
The couple shares a daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker. They welcomed her in 2025, several months after their split. The source also said their relationship is solely focused on raising her.
“Their relationship at this point is just about co-parenting,” the insider said. “Megan is focused on her kids and the baby and just getting settled into this new chapter. That’s genuinely her priority.”
