Matt Rogers Suggests Casting off Teresa Giudice While Andy Cohen Teased a ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Announcement
Bravo is still all in on The Real Housewives franchise. The network is ready to launch another iteration of the iconic series. While new faces are always welcome, fans are still waiting to hear what is going on with The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Bravo paused the series after a disastrous season 14 left the cast exhausted and fans disgusted. While Andy Cohen insists there is work going on behind the scenes, he’s shared almost no real information. Matt Rogers, however, has an idea that many fans might like. He thinks Teresa Giudice should be cast off onto a spinoff, leaving the rest of the ladies to do the heavy lifting on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Matt Rogers wants ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ to continue without the most dramatic cast member
Matt Rogers is a comedian and actor, but he’s also an avid Bravo fan. He has plenty of opinions on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. He used a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live to express those feelings. During one segment of the beloved talk show, Rogers launched into a deeply passionate monologue about The Real Housewives of New Jersey. He begged Andy Cohen to give fans some information.
When Cohen opted to turn away from Rogers instead of offering an update, Rogers continued with his own suggestion. He said that he wants the ladies of New Jersey to return to Bravo, but with one big change. He’d like to see Teresa Giudice cut from the cast. Rogers said everyone else could come back, and Giudice could pursue her own venture. Cohen didn’t react to the suggestion, but did say announcements could be imminent.
Rogers isn’t the only one interested in seeing Giudice gone. Many fans have suggested removing Giudice from the cast would lower the tension level to something a bit more reasonable again. Firing Giudice would also allow the cast to actually film together. Filming together was impossible during Giudice and Melissa Gorga’s most recent feud.
Could Teresa Giudice get her own show?
Matt Rogers isn’t ready to say goodbye to Teresa Giudice completely yet. While he doesn’t think the last remaining original cast member should interact with The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast any longer, he’s okay with the idea of Teresa getting a show of her own, along with her controversial love, Luis Ruelas.
While Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas’ drama is enough to fill multiple seasons of a show, we can’t help but wonder who they’d be arguing with if it weren’t for the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. There have been rumors about a potential spinoff before, but fan sentiment appears to be split. Some believe the interpersonal drama within the family is enough to carry a show, while others argue that Teresa looks too “confused” most of the time to headline an entire series. Cohen did not offer his thoughts on the idea.
