Meghan Markle Announces Whether or Not Her ‘Confessions of Female Founder’ Podcast Will Return
Meghan Markle first began hosting a podcast in 2022 when she launched her Archetypes series. But after just one season, Spotify canceled her podcast and ended its partnership with the Duchess of Sussex.
It didn’t take long though for Meghan to find a new home and create an all-new podcast with Lemonada Media titled Confessions of a Female Founder. The podcast debuted on April 8, 2025, and some of Meghan’s guests included her friend and Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder of Girls Who Code Reshma Saujani, Highbrow Hippie co-founder Kadi Lee, and SPANX founder Sara Blakely. The former Suits star wrapped things up with a special bonus episode that featured Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, on June 3.
Since then, fans have been wondering if Meghan is planning to continue her podcast with a second season.
Well, Prince Harry’s wife was just asked about that while appearing as a guest on Aspire with Emma Grede.
Meghan told the SKIMS founding partner that she’s pausing the series for now, explaining: “I would love to bring the show back when I am at a different end of my founder journey, when I’ve gone through Q4 and say, ‘Here are my proof points. Here’s this. Wow. What a year it’s been.’ Or even longer than that. I think a different time will be so exciting, just to be able to compare and contrast.
“But yeah, I know people want another one. I just made a choice to say it’s a really good time to make, to put all of my energy into the thing that I’m building.”
