It has been more than three weeks since Rob and Michele Reiner were found deceased inside their Brentwood home. It didn’t take long for the LAPD to rule their deaths a homicide. With the ruling came the arrest of their middle child, Nick Reiner. The arrest added an additional layer of shock to the already shocking tragedy. In the days since Nick Reiner’s arrest, a clearer picture of what was going on inside the Reiner home in the days and weeks before their deaths has come into focus. New details are offering further clarity, like the fact that Michele Singer Reiner sent an email just hours before she was allegedly murdered by her own son. The details of that message are heartbreaking.

Michelle Singer Reiner sent an email to a prison inmate hours before her death

If Michele Singer Reiner was worried in the hours leading up to her death, she gave no indication in an email sent on December 13. While the Reiner family reportedly had an argument at Conan O’Brien’s party, Michele Reiner was upbeat in an email sent to a prison inmate hours before she was killed.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Nanon Williams received an email from Michele Singer Reiner on December 13. The email was timestamped at 8:26 pm. In it, she discussed seeing Lyrics from Lockdown with Rob Reiner, Romy Reiner, and Williams’ family and supporters. Michele told the inmate, who is serving life in prison for murder, that she was hoping to see the multimedia production with him one day. Michele Singer Reiner did not seem distressed in any way in the email. She seemed upbeat and happy. She signed off with her love. Williams is reportedly devastated by the sudden loss of the couple.

The Reiners had been advocating for Williams’ release after evidence used against him was proven faulty. He maintains he is not responsible for the death of Adonius Collier in 1995. The Reiners were in regular contact with him.

What time did the Reiners leave Conan O’Brien’s party?

While Nanon Williams received an email from Michele Singer Reiner that seemed perfectly normal, it is unclear whether it was sent before or after she and her husband, Rob Reiner, left a party thrown by Conan O’Brien. The couple reportedly left a holiday party hosted by the late-night host early after arguing with their son, Nick Reiner, over his behavior. The 32-year-old had been invited as a favor to his father, but acted strangely and dressed inappropriately for the event.
