Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren’s name is in the news following his recent DUI arrest near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida. That’s because she and Woods share two children, Sam and Charlie, and Nordegren is said to be “concerned” for the golf star‘s health and well-being.

According to a source who spoke to People, “The kids are close with Tiger, so of course Elin cares too. She wants him to be well. Both kids are great and love spending time with their dad. Elin’s concerned that he had another car crash and got arrested. His recovery from the crash [in 2021] in California was brutal. [Elin] just wants him to make the best choices for himself. It’s about his health and being there for the kids.”

Now, with his first wife’s name in the headlines again, some have questions about Nordegren these days, including what her net worth is and how she co-parents with Woods.

Here’s the answer to that and what her relationship with Woods is like today.

When Woods and Nordegren got divorced

Nordegren and Woods tied the knot in 2004. They welcomed their daughter Sam in 2007 and their son Charlie two years later.

From the outside, they looked like a picture-perfect family. But on Thanksgiving night 2009, Nordegren reportedly discovered that her husband had been cheating on her and chased Woods out of their mansion, wielding a golf club.

The athlete fled their home in his Cadillac Escalade and hit a fire hydrant before crashing into a tree. The rest of the world soon learned about the golfer’s infidelity, and he took a hiatus from the sport for several months. Woods eventually checked himself into a sex rehab, and the couple divorced in 2010.

How much Nordergren got in the settlement and what her net worth is today

According to multiple reports, Nordergren received between $100 million and $110 million from their divorce. The settlement was negotiated upward from a prenuptial agreement following the cheating scandal that ended the marriage, with reports suggesting the former model secured around $20 million per year. Woods also agreed to pay approximately $20,000 per month in child support at that time.

Nordgren has also made several real estate investments over the years, including in 2011 when she famously purchased a $12 million oceanfront mansion in North Palm Beach, demolished it, and built a custom three-story, 11-bedroom mansion, which she eventually sold in 2020 for more than $28 million. She also purchased a 13,523-square-foot mansion for $9.9 million through a trust, shifting from oceanfront to a golf course community. It’s currently worth double that. Today, Nordegren’s estimated net worth is $200 million, Celebrity Net Worth notes.

Nordergren and Woods always put on a united front for their children as they remained committed to co-parenting. The relationship between them is much better these days as well, with Woods even calling Nordegren one of “his best friends” and they are often seen at junior golf tournaments together supporting Charlie.

Nordergren has been in a relationship with former NFL player Jordan Cameron since 2019, and they have three children together. Woods, meanwhile, has been dating Vanessa Trump since 2024.
