How Much Shorter Is WNBA Star Angel Reese Than Her Boyfriend NBA Player Wendell Carter Jr.?
After several months of speculation, Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. seemingly confirmed his relationship with WNBA star Angel Reese.
Reese has been a fixture at Magic games most of this season and Carter previously attended the WNBA All-Star Game wearing a shirt with Reese’s picture on it. He was also spotted at her birthday party in May, leading to plenty of dating rumors. Then, on a recent episode of FanDuel TV’s Run It Back, Carter let the cat out of the bag by calling the Chicago Sky forward “my girl,” saying, “We’re locked in. Y’all are gonna out when y’all need to find out. That’s my girl though. We locked in for sure.”
Now, fans have some questions about the athletic pair, and since they’re both tall basketball players, many are wondering what their height difference is.
Here’s more on that and a few other things you may not know about Reese and Carter.
Carter was born on April 16, 1999, in Atlanta, Georgia. After playing his college ball with the Duke Blue Devils, he was selected with the seventh overall pick by the Chicago Bulls. He was traded to the Magic in 2021 and has been with that team ever since.
Reese is three years younger than Carter, as she was born in Randallstown, Maryland, on May 6, 2002. In college, she played for the LSU Tigers before she was selected by the Chicago Sky, also with the seventh overall pick, in the 2024 WNBA draft.
As for their height difference, Reese stands at 6-foot-3, while Carter is seven inches taller at 6-foot-10.
The two aren’t the first Magic player and Sky player to have dated. Magic guard Jalen Suggs and Sky guard Hailey Van Lith were together for a couple of years but recently split.
