Nathan Griffith is allegedly sending his ex-wife flowers while he sits in a Las Vegas jail cell. The 37-year-old veteran was arrested in April for attacking his then-girlfriend while drunk. While he’s accepted a plea deal that will include jail time, he isn’t planning to wait around to woo back his estranged wife now that his 21-year-old love interest, Anastasia Biddle, is out of the picture.

Griffith’s estranged wife, May Oyola, took to Instagram to share a photo of a card and flowers Griffith allegedly sent her. While Oyola’s Instagram account is set to private, Reddit users captured the post and shared a screenshot. The card includes a bible verse and is signed “Your Husband, Nathan Griffith.” The verse advises believers to keep their lives free from love or money.

While Oyola seems happy with the delivery, opting to share it on social media, it has left followers a bit confused. The message seems a bit strange, and Griffith’s relationship with Oyola is incredibly convoluted, to say the least.

Nathan Griffith might be trying to woo his wife, May Oyola, from behind bars, but don’t be fooled; it is probably not true love. The former couple’s relationship has been fraught with drama. Griffith introduced Oyola to the public via Instagram in 2022; the couple was already married. Cracks in the relationship started early, with several run-ins with the police for public fights.

By 2023, the duo appeared to be separated. Before moving to Las Vegas, he was arrested for strangling another romantic partner. Despite being legally married, the victim in question was not Oyola. A second arrest came months later when Griffith attacked his sister inside her home.

The trouble between Griffith and Oyola didn’t stop after his move to Las Vegas. Apparently, Griffith isn’t the only one who can’t keep his hands to himself. In January 2024, Oyola was arrested for domestic battery following an altercation with Nathan. A judge issued a no-contact order. The case was later dismissed, and the no-contact order was lifted. Still, Nathan referred to May as his “ex” even after the legal drama was over.

Oyola is currently living in Las Vegas, but she and Griffith haven’t been an item for some time, it seems. His most recent arrest, in April 2025, occurred when he attacked Anastasia Bidlde, his then-girlfriend. According to the Ashley Reality Roundup Group, Griffith had been living with Anastasia prior to his arrest despite being legally married to Oyola.
