Neo Langston Posts Privately About the Investigation Into Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s Death, Calls out D4vd
D4vd’s former friend, Neo Langston, is apparently pretty angry that he was dragged into the Celeste Rivas Hernandez murder investigation. Now that he’s done testifying in front of a grand jury, he’s lamenting his frustration on a private Instagram account. From the sounds of it, D4vd and Neo Langston are no longer friends, and he insists he has nothing to do with the death of an underage girl that the TikToker-turned-musician was reportedly dating. Steve Fischer, a private investigator working the case, has taken issue with what Langston has to say, though.
Neo Langston is complaining about D4vd on a private Instagram account
Neo Langston isn’t posting about D4vd and the investigation into the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez publicly. He is posting about the investigation privately, though. TMZ has obtained a look at Langston’s private Instagram account and has reported that the streamer took to the platform to proclaim his innocence. In the midst of it, he appeared to call D4vd a “d*****d” to his followers.
Langston claimed he’s “legally” fine and has receipts for “things,” though he didn’t elaborate further. Langston’s private posts were still careful not to call out D4vd by name. He also didn’t exactly mention the murder investigation that his name has been dragged into multiple times since September 2025. Still, it’s clear he’s referencing the singer and Rivas Hernandez’s death. He seems frustrated and angry, though.
As we reported, Neo Langston was arrested at his mother’s home in Montana in January. An out-of-state warrant was issued for the streamer after he failed to appear in front of the grand jury investigating the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. It is unclear how long Langston had been staying with his mother before police apprehended him.
The authorities moved him from Montana to Los Angeles. From there, he appeared before the grand jury. Once he testified, he was free to go, it seems. It is unclear where he has been staying since, as he has maintained a low profile.
Steve Fischer remains unamused by the streamer
While Neo Langston insists he’s “legally fine,” Steve Fischer, a private investigator who has been looking into Rivas Hernandez’s death, thinks the streamer, at the very least, is morally bankrupt. Shortly after Langston posted on his private Instagram account, Fischer publicly called him out on X (formerly Twitter). In a scathing callout, Fischer noted that innocent people generally don’t need to tell their “side” of things. He went on to call out the streamer’s self-pitying post. He noted that Neo lamented how he’s been inconvenienced by the investigation, without ever referring to the teen who was found dead inside D4vd’s Tesla trunk.
Steve Fischer, a well-known private investigator, was hired by the owner of the rental property that D4vd and his management team vacated shortly after the LAPD executed a raid on the property. According to Search Investigations, Fischer’s initial focus was on the rental property and what may have transpired inside the Hollywood Hills home. He has been vocal, however, about the teen’s death and his investigation. He has thrown shade at Langston more than once since signing on to the case.
