Netflix Will Not Let David Harbour’s Recent Scandals ‘Overshadow’ the Final Season of ‘Stranger Things’
Not long after Lily Allen dropped a divorce album about Stranger Things star David Harbour, news broke that Millie Bobby Brown accused him of harassment and bullying on set. The news comes as another blow to Harbour’s public image ahead of the show’s final season. Though Harbour plays a crucial role in the series, a Netflix source said they won’t allow this to get in the way of the latest season’s release.
David Harbour’s bad press won’t get in the way of the ‘Stranger Things’ finale
Harbour began receiving negative attention after Allen accused him of cheating on her throughout their marriage. News that Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim against him came as another blow.
“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season,” a source told The Daily Mail. “There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”
Harbour is a star of Stranger Things, but Netflix reportedly isn’t all that concerned about the bad press. A source at the streaming service is confident that Harbour’s personal life won’t negatively impact the last season of the show.
“It will be a theatrical event,” the Netflix source said. “Nothing is going to overshadow this, not even the leading man’s private life.”
Despite the reports of on-set drama, Brown and Harbour embraced at the Stranger Things premiere.
