We’re finally hearing from Neve Campbell regarding that old rumor that she went on a date with Prince Harry, before he met Meghan Markle of course.

During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, the host asked the Scream 7 star about her evening with the Duke of Sussex. Campbell said that it wasn’t actually a date. She explained that she went to a friend’s costume party where Harry also happened to be, and the two met then.

“I went to a friend’s birthday party and someone said, ‘There’s Harry!’ and I was like, ‘Harry who?’ ‘Prince Harry.’ He told me that he had a poster of me on his wall when he was a child, which I thought, ‘That’s a little awkward,” Campbell recalled, adding, “I don’t know if that was a line, though. It could’ve been a line.”
