When Daniel Jones took over for Eli Manning, the New York Giants thought they found their next franchise quarterback. But it didn’t turn out that way. In 2024, things got so bad in the Big Apple that Jones actually requested to be released by the team mid-season. Then, in the 2025 offseason, the Giants announced that quarterback Russell Wilson had signed a one-year deal to line up under center.

After seeing him play the last few seasons, fans knew they weren’t getting the Super-Bowl-winning, signal-caller-for-the-Seattle-Seahawks version of Russell Wilson. However, they were still getting future-Hall-of-Famer Russell Wilson, so there weren’t many complaints. But then the season started.

It didn’t go the way anyone wanted with an 0-3 start, so by Week 4, head coach Brian Daboll benched the veteran for rookie Jaxson Dart. That move gave running back Cameron Skattebo and the rest of the team a jolt.

Skattebo recorded his first multiple-touchdown game against the reigning Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6, and fans haven’t been able to stop talking about him since. They want to know all about his life away from the gridiron too. Here’s more about Cam Scattebo and his girlfriend, Chloe Rodriguez.

When Skattebo and Rodriguez started dating

Before Scattebo was selected by the G-Men in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft, he played his college ball at Sacramento State University for two seasons and then transferred to Arizona State. He met Rodriguez at the former.

The two became Instagram official on May 31, 2021. Since they started dating, the couple hasn’t been shy about showing their love for each other on social media.

Rodriguez is from Northern California and attended Clovis East High School. There, she was a member of the cheerleading squad and became a national champion at the USA Spirit National in Medium Varsity Show Cheer Intermediate Division.

She joined the cheerleading team at Sacramento State as well. In 2022, she performed with the squad at the University for the Creative Arts and came in 7th place. She graduated in 2024.

These days, Rodriguez works as a gymnastics instructor.

Rodriguez has gone viral for her game day looks

It’s not just her man making headlines this season. Rodriguez has made some of her own, going viral with some of her custom game-day looks.

She has been one of Skattebo’s biggest supporters during games and when she watched him face the Eagles on Thursday Night Football, she donned a dazzling custom Giants jacket to MetLife Stadium.

Rodriguez showed the same type of support even before her running back boyfriend was in the NFL. In college, she proudly rocked a similar ‘Skattebo’ jean jacket for Arizona State’s Peach Bowl against the University of Texas at Austin.

So we’re pretty sure we’ll see Rodriguez wearing more unique attire bearing Skattebo’s No. 44 this season.
