If you were hoping for a third season of Meghan Markle‘s Netflix show, you may be disappointed because, after the streamer looked at the numbers for season 2, season 3 reportedly isn’t in the cards for With Love, Meghan.

Netflix’s ratings showed that the series has failed to get anywhere near the Top 10 after its first week. Moreover, critics have given it some pretty brutal reviews, which might have discouraged people who were on the fence about watching it. And on top of that, the show didn’t generate as much buzz as Meghan and her team were hoping since it was released the same exact day that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s engagement announcement dominated the news cycle.

Now, bets are being made on whether we’ll ever get a Season 3 of With Love, Meghan, and what venture the former Suits star may jump into next.

Season 2 of ‘With Love, Meghan’ didn’t pull in good numbers

Before Season 2 of With Love, Meghan premiered, there was talk that Prince Harry’s wife would have the green light from Netflix if she decided she wanted to do a third season.

Daily Mail reporter Alison Bishoff previously said, “There will be a third series of the duchess’s lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, if she wants to make one and I hear she does.”

But that is reportedly in jeopardy as the show has so far pulled in such poor numbers. And now people are asking what other projects the duchess might do if she’s not going to continue shooting the lifestyle series.

According to Pundit Arena betting expert and spokesperson for Joe Lyons, “Following reports that With Love, Meghan is under review by Netflix, the odds suggest we may have already seen the final season. At 1/2 to be canceled after season two. Its future looks uncertain, and attention is now shifting to what Meghan does next.”

Experts are betting that the duchess will follow in Prince Harry’s footsteps

Even if there’s not a season 3 and the Sussexes’ “first-look” content (per their new deal with Netflix) doesn’t get picked up by the streaming giant, Meghan will still have her lifestyle brand, which she has been focusing a lot on. Outside of promoting that, fans have a few ideas of what else she might end up doing.

Lyons noted that the odds for Meghan’s next ventures are: “A memoir leads the market at 8/11, which would see Markle follow in the steps of her husband, Harry, who released his own book in 2023. Entering the world of fashion is another plausible avenue for Meghan, priced at 3/1. A return to acting also remains on the table for the Duchess of Sussex; she’s 6/1 to reappear on our TV screens as an actress.”

Despite the dismal numbers for With Love, Meghan Season 2, Netflix previously announced that the duchess has a holiday show already in the pipeline with the streamer.

The press release issued by Archewell Productions for that read: “This December, join Meghan in Montecito for a magical holiday celebration. Together, friends and family deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs — with simple how-tos to follow at home. It’s a holiday wonder with warmth, tradition, and a generous dose of joy.”
