It’s often said that children shouldn’t pay for the sins of their parents, but that is exactly what’s happening with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson‘s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

In October, King Charles stripped his brother of his royal titles and evicted Andrew and his ex-wife from their Royal Lodge home over their association and embarrassing links to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In January, thousands of documents from the Epstein file were released, some of which contain photos and numerous emails between Epstein and the former Duke and Duchess of York. Then, on Feb. 19, Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

Following Andrew’s arrest, King Charles released a statement that read, “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair, and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.

“In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and cooperation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.”

Although their father has denied anywrongdoing, his long association with Epstein caused public outrage and is a major embarrassment to the royal family, especially his daughters, who have now reportedly been banned from some major royal events, including the Royal Ascot this summer.

There have been reports that the ladies want to keep their royal status, but here’s what they’ll likely focus on while the fallout with their parents’ ties to Epstein continues.

Princess Beatrice’s job and family

Princess Beatrice has only been spotted on a few occasions since her father was stripped of his titles. The princess is married to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and they have two daughters together, Sienna and Athena. With the royal family pulling back from the Yorks, Beatrice will undoubtedly remain focused on her own family and career.

In 2016, she began working for the firm Afiniti. She has served as the Vice President of Partnerships and Strategy and was recently appointed a director at Purpose Economy Intelligence Ltd.

Beatrice also founded her own advisory firm, BY-EQ. According to the Daily Mail, her company only made $52,000 profit in its first year. Financial records for 2024 though show a major increase as the company posted $670,000 in earnings, meaning Beatrice has likely retained over $365,000 in accumulated profits.

Princess Eugenie’s job and family

Princess Eugenie is married to Jack Brooksbank and they have two children as well, sons August and Ernest. She will also be focused on her family and career as the Director at the international contemporary art gallery Hauser & Wirth in London. The princess has held that position since 2017 after joining the company in 2015.

Before her current role, Eugenie worked at the online auction firm Paddle8 in New York and auction house Christie’s.
