Brooks Nader Breaks Her Silence On Controversial Italy Photos With Her Dad
Brooks Nader recently revealed that her father was unbothered by what she wore—or did not wear—during her family’s vacation to Italy. Photographers spotted the Baywatch star baring it all during the European vacation. Her father, Breaux Nader, was also on the boat, further making headlines.
The Nader family vacationed in Sardinia, Italy, over the summer. Besides the Sports Illustrated model, her parents and three younger sisters were also present on a boat. In the paparazzi photos, the 29-year-old could be seen leaving her family’s boat for a swim. She removed her top and remained in her white lace shorts before jumping in the water.
When Nader returned to the boat, she continued walking around and talking with her family. The pictures sparked controversy, with some people criticizing the model for going topless in the presence of her father.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Nader recently addressed the controversy, saying her family does not care about such issues. She said, “I had the time of my freaking life,” referring to the controversial vacation that many called “European.” She continued to share, “I don’t care if I’m not from Europe. I’m from Louisiana.”
The Dancing With The Stars alum further called out trolls, saying that moving around without a top was common in her family. Moreover, her father did not mind her lack of clothing.
She said, “I grew up in an all-girl household. We’re always naked together as sisters.” When asked about her father, she said, “My dad’s half-blind, so he didn’t even notice. He was like, ‘I don’t care.’ He has selective hearing and selective seeing,” Nader added.
She further took a jab at the paparazzi who captured her. Nader said, “I was just having the time of my life, and really not thinking that anyone was documenting some of it, but we love it. It’s great.”
The model often speaks about her family and how she is attached to each and every member. Her father also often shares pictures of all his four daughters. His Instagram posts also include snaps of Nader’s swimsuit magazine covers.
The actress, who also filmed the reality TV show, Love Thy Nader, once opened up about her tight-knit family. According to People, she revealed that her family stays in constant communication all the time. “We all know too much about each other,” she shared.
Nader also shared an anecdote and revealed an ongoing joke among her sisters. “We joke that my dad is turning into a Nader sister.” The actress revealed that her father remains aware of everything happening in his daughters’ lives.
At one point, she shared an incident when she spoke to her sisters about not finding enough time for a spray tan. Her father immediately suggested a place that he knew of to get the spray tan. Nader was shocked to learn that her father was aware of such places and said, “The fact that my dad knows about St. Tropez self-tanner.… We need to get that guy on the golf course.” “He shouldn’t know about that,” she further quipped.
