Another one of Jenelle Evans’ ex-boyfriends has surfaced with a life update. Thankfully, for Teen Mom 2 fans, it was a positive update, unlike the most recent update from Nathan Griffith. Kieffer Delp popped up on the internet after spending years flying under the radar to let the world know he’s drug-free, in a happy relationship, and enjoying fatherhood. His path to get there wasn’t exactly smooth.

Kieffer Delp shares what his life looks like now

It has been more than a decade since Kieffer Delp appeared on Teen Mom 2 as Jenelle Evans’ love interest. After the end of the relationship, he moved on and moved states. The legal troubles he found while in a relationship with Evans followed him, though. In January 2018, he was arrested in Pennsylvania for operating a meth lab inside his apartment. Police discovered chemicals and equipment used to manufacture meth, and Delp was charged with multiple felonies, including possession with intent to deliver and risking catastrophe. He ultimately pleaded guilty and was sentenced to prison. It is unclear when he arrived in Pennsylvania. He was released from prison after serving 18 months behind bars.

Following his release, Delp apparently focused on sobriety, although it sounds like it took him a bit of time to get completely clean. He’s waffled between keeping a low profile and sharing updates about his life on X (formerly Twitter). In his most recent Twitter update, Delp shared that he is sober. He wrote, “Well I got off the drugs 20-something months ago I have a beautiful daughter.” He went on to say he’s been working, has been in a relationship for three years, and is doing well. In a July 2024 update, he shared that he had been clean for nine months. Based on the timeline, Delp is likely approaching two years of sobriety in October.

Jenelle Evans and Kieffer Delp’s relationship began in 2010 during the early seasons of Teen Mom 2. The two met in North Carolina at the beach, and their relationship quickly became a central storyline on the show. Barbara Evans was largely opposed to the pairing, noting that the couple spent their time doing nothing but getting high, while she cared for Evans’ young son.

Their romance, which lasted until 2012, fueled some of the more iconic moments on Teen Mom 2 involving Evans. Following their split, Delp, along with his iconic green hoodie, moved away. He has remained almost completely quiet about Evans and the way her life has turned out. In fact, he’s been keeping a relatively low profile in recent years, but it was nice for fans to hear a positive update from one of Evans’ exes. There are very few of those.
