Kylie Jenner has been relatively open about the cosmetic procedures she has undergone. While the reality TV star often shares her makeup routine with her fans, she has also addressed the changes in her appearance over the years. However, Jenner has also faced accusations of appropriating Black aesthetics through some of her past looks.

According to BuzzFeed, Jenner changed her style over the years, and in 2026, she often opts for a less fake-tanned look. The drastic change in her appearance also became a topic of discussion on the internet when some fans noticed a glimpse of her old face in paparazzi pictures. 

The online discourse led to people revisiting her looks from 2020. In the viral pictures making rounds on X, she could be seen all tanned with a high ponytail. An X user reacted to the photos, saying, “Wow, she really used to look like she was from Sinaloa.”

Another critic penned, “Looking like beyoncés lost daughter.” Some also claimed that her brown girl era ended when she began dating Timothee Chalamet. A third user mentioned that Jenner was “doing everything to look like a Black woman, and now she’s backtracked by reducing her BBL and changing her style to match Chalamet.” 

Jenner’s changing facial appearance is also due to a few cosmetic procedures. According to People, she opened up about her changing appearance during the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion. She revealed, “I had really small lips, and I didn’t ever think about it until I had one of my first kisses and a guy said to me, ‘Oh my God, you’re such a good kisser, but you have such small lips,’ or something like that.” 

“From then on, I felt unkissable,” the beauty mogul explained. The Kylie Cosmetics owner further confirmed that she only opted for lip fillers and denied going under the knife to change her facial features. 

She previously admitted to gaining her desired lip shape with the help of makeup. Jenner, on an episode of Life of Kylie in 2017, said, “I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty.” “I really wanted bigger lips. I would overline my lips with lip liner just to create the illusion of bigger lips. And then finally I was like, this lip liner isn’t doing it. [I] ended up getting my lips done,” she added.

While Jenner got her filler dissolved in 2018, she got another touch-up within a few months. Her lips were not the only part of her body that she got enhanced. 

The mother of two admitted to getting breast implants during an episode of The Kardashians in 2023. She revealed that she went with the augmentation procedure before conceiving her daughter, Stormi. “I got my breasts done before Stormi, not thinking I would have a child when I was 20. Like, they were still healing,” she explained. 

The procedure may have helped Jenner achieve her desired look, but it did not mean that she did not regret them later. At one point in the episode, she admitted to wishing she had never gone with the procedure. 

“I had beautiful breasts. Just gorgeous. Perfect size, perfect everything. And I just wish, obviously, I never got them done to begin with,” the reality TV star shared. The beauty mogul then recommended going under the knife only after having children.
