Kim Kardashian has faced criticism after her daughter, North West, appeared to debut a ‘new nose’ in a TikTok video. The 13-year-old has drawn attention for experimenting with different styles in recent years. However, some viewers said they thought she had gone too far by appearing with a heavily contoured nose.

The mother-daughter duo has a joint TikTok account, where they often share dance videos. According to The Sun, the teenager recently posted a video of her dancing and lip-syncing to Rihanna’s track SOS. Her heavily contoured nose caught her fans’ attention as they scrutinized her mother.

North frequently experiments with makeup, temporary tattoos, and other styles. This sparked fresh speculation about her nose. Some social media users criticized Kardashian and accused her of allowing North to alter her appearance.

A TikTok user penned, “Poor kid that she got influenced by her relatives to believe her face is not pretty enough as it is.” They further took a jab at the 45-year-old, saying, “Bad parenting.” Another user wrote, “Children need guidance and boundaries,” before adding that they can make mistakes when they are adults. 

“Her contouring her beautiful nose is making me really upset. What is happening here??” a third one asked. An X user also attributed North’s appearance to the impact of Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce. The user wrote, “Before their divorce, she was completely normal and even religious. This is what’s like now after being left with Kim for 5 years.” 

Insiders claimed that North is struggling, especially after she released her horror-themed track Aishite. According to Radar Online, an insider said that Kardashian and West’s eldest daughter is “clearly in a very dark place right now.” They pointed out her track’s lyrics about “betrayal” and “suffering” as evidence. 

In the song, North sings, “Ayy, ain’t nobody finna save me / Ayy, and it’s drivin’ me crazy / Why can’t I escape? / ‘Cause they chase me / Just love me, everyone betrays me.” The source mentioned how many may dismiss the idea behind her track as creative writing. Instead, they believe that it is a “blatant cry for help!”

The insider also noted that her parents’ highly publicized split may have affected her. Kardashian and West have publicly clashed following their divorce filing in 2021. Despite finalizing their divorce, the rapper often publicly questions his ex-wife over her parenting of their four children. 

Previously, he has slammed the SKIMS founder for giving their eldest daughter too much freedom. He also called her out for dressing North as an adult and not a child. The father of four reportedly also opposed the 13-year-old’s presence on social media. 

Kardashian often leaves Ye’s public comments on her parenting unanswered. However, she has reportedly clapped back at him, claiming that he was an absent father to their four children.

Insiders appear to believe that “North may have been spoiled with material objects her whole life, but she’s been to h— and back thanks to her parents.” They argued that the teenager is clearly in pain. “This video is proof she’s seriously suffering,” the insider added.
