Pete Davidson was Kim Kardashian’s first boyfriend after her highly public separation from her ex-husband Kanye West. While their relationship was short-lived, the former couple managed to grab a lot of attention. Years after their breakup, Davidson recently opened up about the time he was smitten by the reality TV star. However, he soon revealed his wild title for himself and Kardashian’s other exes.

The comedian and actor met Kardashian on the sets of Saturday Night Live. It was the time when the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was hosting an episode in October 2021. She also played the role of Jasmine and kissed the 32-year-old, who channeled Aladdin, for a sketch.

According to Variety, the two began dating shortly after. The relationship introduced Davidson to a whole different scenario, as he not only entered the reality TV world but was also a constant target of scrutiny. The former couple’s 13-year age gap and West’s interference—everything was discussed on the internet. 

Davidson recently called himself a survivor of the world that Kardashian lives in and titled himself and the partners that came before the “Marines.” He said, “I’m one of the survivors — the few and the proud. We’re like the Marines.” The comedian further shared the reason why the Kardashian-Jenner family life was a different one for him. 

He said, “Look, man, that’s a really tough atmosphere if you’re not game. One of the things I love about Kim and that whole family is they’re like, ‘This is what we do.’ I found that very attractive and mature.” The Bodies Bodies Bodies actor assured fans that he was never forced into doing something while dating the beauty mogul. 

Davidson shared, “She was super respectful of all of it, but the craze of that lifestyle — being followed everywhere, having security and looking over your shoulder — for a guy with mental stuff, and at the time drug problems, was a little too much for me.” The 32-year-old referred to his ex-girlfriend’s entourage and filming team for her family’s reality TV show. 

Years after their split, Davidson revealed that he has nothing but love for Kardashian. He said, “But we’re cool, and I have a lot of love for her, and I knew what I was getting into.” 

Kardashian confirmed that there was no bad blood between her and Davidson back in 2023. According to Hola!, the mother of four revealed on her Hulu show that she was single at the time. The 45-year-old further shared that she was proud of how she and the comedian concluded their relationship. 

Kardashian revealed that there was no sign of miscommunication in that relationship. Instead, she and Davidson “just had talks and talks.” “We’ve been talking about it. So it was just, like, both of us just communicating really well about it,” she added. She revealed that the break-up was “obviously sad” for her, but it left her in guilt after everything they went through with West’s public outburst. 

Kardashian is currently dating Lewis Hamilton, and the couple is all over each other’s social media profiles. On the other hand, Davidson is reportedly single at the moment. He previously dated Elsie Hewitt, with whom he shares a daughter.
