The latest season of The Kardashians has reignited conversations about tensions within the Kardashian-Jenner family. The season also highlighted Kourtney Kardashian’s apparent distance from her sisters. The discussion has prompted some social media users to revisit a 2013 episode in which Scott Disick criticized Kourtney’s postpartum weight while her sister Kim Kardashian was present.

According to BuzzFeed, a video of Disick taking a jab at his then-girlfriend resurfaced on X. In the clip, which aired as part of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami in 2013, Disick was seen commenting on the reality star’s postpartum weight. It was filmed about three months after they welcomed Penelope. 

As Kourtney weighed herself, her ex-boyfriend asked, “Do you know what you’re supposed to weigh for your average height?” The reality star replied, “105,” as she is about five feet tall. He soon asked her how much she weighed when she met him, to which Kourtney replied, “95.”

Disick then gave the then-mother-of-two her weight goal, saying, “I feel like 93 is the dream.” The 47-year-old was visibly upset over his comments, and her sister’s entry did not make it better. Kim soon came into the frame, jokingly asking, “93 is your dream?”

An upset Kourtney then said, “He is so disgusting,” before telling her then-boyfriend, “Actually, when I first met you, I was probably more like 100.” He then attempted to remind her that she was in great shape when they first met. However, his remarks did not sit well with either Kourtney or the show’s viewers. 

Kim finally spoke to her elder sibling about Disick’s poor remarks on her body. She asked, “How do you feel when he’s like, ‘I want you at, like, 95 lbs?” The Poosh founder replied, “It doesn’t bother me because I have to do what’s best for me. I can’t, like, compare myself to supermodels.” 

Kourtney’s reaction to Disick’s remarks did not stop him from commenting on her body. Later, he unabashedly asked the mother of his children to drop some extra pounds by watching her diet. He compared her weight to the time when she gave birth to their first child and continued to slam her for the same. Even when Kourtney told him she was going for a healthier approach to drop weight, he forced her to do it faster. 

Several X users reacted to the resurfaced clip from the show, slamming both Disick and Kim. A user penned, “Scott is an awful human, and he deserves being left out,” while another noted, “That’s horrible to say to anyone after giving birth. Then have your own sister thinking that’s funny or something. Horrible. That’s why karma comes around.”

A third user wrote, “This kind of man is my nightmare.” “Omg?!!!! This was HARD to watch. Glad she’s finally happy, away from all those toxic people,” a fourth user opined.

Kourtney and Disick share three children: Mason, Penelope, and Reign. The former couple had a tumultuous relationship until they called it quits in 2016. The reality TV star is currently married to Travis Barker and has a blended family with him. Meanwhile, Disick remains a regular on the family’s reality TV show The Kardashians.
