Given the couple’s fame, psychotherapist Robin Hamilton suggested that they treat the children ‘as if they are individuals who didn’t choose to be celebrities.’
Hamilton emphasized children’s privacy, especially for those who have famous parents. She said, “You want to keep their personal lives personal, and their parents’ celebrity lives theirs.” The psychotherapist further pointed out that celebrities must keep their children’s lives separate “because people are going to be approaching these kids.”
Hamilton highlighted that people would always have questions for celebrities’ kids. Therefore, she advised famous parents to “prepare the kids to navigate those questions and how people are going to approach them” if they wish to lead their lives in the public eye. She further suggested parents spend quality time with their children away from cameras.
Speaking about Sweeney’s latest outing with Braun’s children, she added, “You know, not putting all that pressure on the kids right now, because it’s a lot.” Hamilton cited an example of child stars and what happens to them when they cannot handle the pressure.
Communications and relationship expert Nicole Moore also commented on Sweeney and Braun’s latest public outing. She pointed out that the couple is working well together. They are putting spending time with his children as their priority instead of posing for cameras. She further called their latest outing a significant step in their relationship.
