Many on-screen couples have their happily ever after when they still have a lot of life ahead of them. According to tarot experts, some of these romantic pairings would be lucky to last much longer than the credits roll. Here are the fictional couples that astrologers think are destined to break up based on their star signs.

Astrologers believe one on-screen couple is the least compatible

Astrologers at Tarotoo examined the Zodiac compatibility of a number of beloved onscreen couples. They believe that one of the most popular fictional couples of all time won’t make it through life together. And, unfortunately for them, it’s a long one. They say that Bella and Edward from Twilight aren’t all that compatible.

“Bella and Edward lead the list of the fictional couples who wouldn’t survive off-screen, with only 60% in love compatibility,” they tell us. “Bella is a Virgo, which is known for being more stable and grounded. Edward, on the other hand, is far from the typical Gemini, who changes interests fast and can easily get bored with one place, type of relationship, or person.”

This compatibility level makes them the least likely to work out of all the couples they examined.

They don’t believe in the longevity of several other on-screen couples

Bella and Edward aren’t the only couple that the astrological experts have doomed. Ae-sun & Gwan-sik from Netflix’s When Life Gives You Tangerines only have a 63% compatibility. As with the Twilight twosome, Ae-sun, a Taurus, is stable, while Gwan-sik is a variety-seeking Gemini.

Another vampire couple, Damon and Elena from The Vampire Diaries, aren’t as compatible as they could be. Astrologers say that the Gemini and Cancer relationship leaves them unbalanced, and they only have a 63% compatibility.

The next couple with just a 63% compatibility is Shane and Ilya from Heated Rivalry. While they have chemistry, astrologers believe the Taurus and Gemini “would be torn between stability and the desire to try new things.”

Finally, Benedict and Sophia from the latest season of Bridgerton only hit 64% compatibility. Like many of the others, the Sagittarius-Cancer couple might face problems over a desire for variety and a need for stability.

They noted that real-world compatibility is more difficult to determine

On-screen couples are fun to watch. A tarot expert at Tarotoo noted that they might make for difficult partners in real life.

“Fictional couples are written to keep us hooked, but drama, conflicts, and longing are terrible relationship advice in real life,” they tell us. “The same traits that make Damon brooding and irresistible make a Gemini genuinely exhausting to date long-term if you’re the kind of person who needs predictability.”

These couples might end things in the fictional world. Still, experts note that any Zodiac pairing can make it work in the real world.

“In the real world, every relationship can work if couples are willing to compromise,” they explained. “Tauruses can offer grounding to more excitable signs, while mutable energies of Gemini or Sagittarius are great for adding new perspectives.”
