Farrah Abraham has never been shy about sharing her thoughts and opinions. She’s also never been shy about the fact that she is her very own hypeman. Still, the former Teen Mom star’s recent comments about her life and how she views herself in comparison to her former castmates may be a bit over the top. She insists she thinks she’s “adulting” better than the teen moms she used to work with.

Farrah Abraham insists she’s doing better than her former ‘Teen Mom’ co-stars

Farrah Abraham is the first Teen Mom cast member ever to be fired. She was booted off the show after she refused to give up her adult entertainment career in favor of reality TV stardom. While initially upset by the firing, Abraham insists it all worked out for the best. In fact, she thinks she’s blossomed since leaving MTV behind. She even thinks she’s doing better than her former castmates.

During an appearance on Barely Famous, a podcast hosted by Kailyn Lowry, who appeared on Teen Mom 2, Abraham was quick to compare herself to her former co-stars. She confidentially stated, “When I look back right now, I feel like I’m almost really doing the best at adulting out of my cast straight up, financially, education-wise, looking back at it, living it, full-circling it.” Abraham was adamant that she is doing better than women from her season. She was careful not to mention the ladies of Teen Mom 2. She didn’t focus on the new castmates on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, either.

The women who worked with Farrah have been struggling recently

While Farrah Abraham has made headlines for many troubling moments in the past, she appears to have calmed down in recent years. She’s currently doing standup and seems to be in a good place. The same can’t be said about all of her former co-stars.

Abraham appeared on the original Teen Mom series alongside Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, and Catelynn Lowell. Amber Portwood has had several legal dustups, dealt with a disappearing fiancé, and is currently spending her time ranting on TikTok. She was either fired or quit Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, depending on who tells the story, and is estranged from her eldest child. Abraham might be right that she’s doing better than Portwood at the moment.

Catelynn Lowell is married to her middle school sweetheart, and welcomed three more children with him after placing their firstborn for adoption 16 years ago. Despite what should have been a solid foundation for future success, Lowell and her husband, Tyler Baltierra, have struggled. They are embroiled in a texting scandal involving a minor friend of their eldest biological child right now. The duo did not attend college as they had initially suggested they would. They seemingly haven’t dealt with their past trauma. Instead, they have focused their social media musings on anti-adoption rhetoric and are estranged from their eldest child’s adoptive parents. Things aren’t looking too good, honestly.

Maci Bookout has had a much less dramatic existence during the show’s run. Her children are thriving, and her nine-year marriage appears stable. She hasn’t had any run-ins with the law. In fact, she seems to be relatively content, even managing her co-parenting relationship with Ryan Edwards well. Other than a massive tax bill to deal with, Bookout seems to be doing OK. She would likely disagree with Abraham’s assessment.
