Palace Insider Reveals What Prince William Thinks After Prince Harry Said He Wants to Reconcile While Hurling More Verbal Grenades at His Family

Fresh off the dismissal of his court case to have his security reinstated, the Duke of Sussex was right back to talking about his estranged family. So what does the Prince of Wales think about that?

In a surprising move, Prince Harry sat down for an interview after a court dismissed his case to have his security reinstated. And like many of his interviews in the past, the Duke of Sussex took verbal jabs at his family and put the blame for things not going his way on them.

Harry told the BBC: “I can only come to the U.K. safely if I’m invited. There is a lot of control and ability in my father’s hands. Ultimately, this whole thing could be resolved through him, not necessarily by intervening but by stepping aside and letting the experts do what is necessary.”

After taking a shot at King Charles, the prince insisted that he has “forgiven” his family and is ready to reconcile with them.

“I would love reconciliation with my family,” he said. “There’s no point continuing to fight any more. Life is precious.”

But some royal watchers and fans aren’t buying what Harry’s selling, and now a Palace insider is giving insight into what Prince William thinks about it.

Friend of Prince William shares what the future king thinks of Prince Harry’s interview

The Prince of Wales tries to stick to the Firm’s mantra of staying silent rather than responding publicly to what his estranged brother says. But some close to William have spoken for him and told the Daily Beast that he sees the interview as another move by that duke to continue to try and frustrate him and the rest of the royal family.

That insider went on to categorize Harry and Meghan’s continued behavior as “absolutely vile” and said Harry’s interview showed “he has no interest in reconciling. If he did, a period of silence would have been the right thing to do.”

A former courtier also shared that William now believes Harry and Meghan must be “completely cut off” from the royal institution.

Harry was already skating on thin ice with his brother

Even before his latest interview about his family, there were rumblings that the Prince of Wales, who is known to have a harder stance against the Sussexes than his father, had become even more upset with them over the use of their HRH titles.

Several outlets reported that William would like to strip Harry and Meghan of their royal titles completely once he becomes king, and there’s already a plan in place for Parliament to act on that.

A confidante of William’s claimed that everything Meghan and Harry continue to do is “a step in the wrong direction, basically, away from the agreement” with the late queen. Moreover, the future monarch now “loathes and despises Harry and Meghan with every bone in his body. He believes they have betrayed everything the family stands for, and the idea that they are using their royal status as a calling card will enrage him.”

The BBC has since issued an apology for failing to “properly challenge” the claims made by Prince Harry and admitted that it should have included responses from both the Home Office and Buckingham Palace.
