She is currently embroiled in a legal battle with Ray J over some of his comments, and everyone knows that Kanye West is likely to pop off at any moment. Still, Pete Davidson insists there is nothing but love between him and Kim Kardashian. During a recent episode of The Pete Davidson Show, he opened up about his time with Kim and paid her a sweet compliment. Fans are swooning. After all, Pete has a reason to be bitter — he endured a lot during his relationship with Kardashian, mostly at the hands of Kanye West.
Pete Davidson Had Lovely Things to Say About Kim Kardashian
It has been years since Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian dated, but the comedian is still in awe of the reality TV star turned mogul. During a chat with Nikki Glaser on The Pete Davidson Show, he called Kim “superhuman” and revealed that she taught him a lot during their brief romance. Davidson noted that Kardashian showed him that he had to tune things out and get things done, regardless of what was being said or what was going on in the outside world.
He went on to insist that Kim appears to have a very unique ability to tune out the noise and simply hyperfocus on her goals. Glaser, who acted alongside Kim, agreed, noting that she has a unique ability to shield herself from all of the negative coverage that floats around about her. Davidson also praised her acting ability before the topic organically moved on.
The Relationship Did Reportedly Land Him in Trauma Therapy, Though
Pete Davidson’s sweet remarks about Kim Kardashian come as a bit of a surprise. It’s not that fans thought he hated the reality TV star, but rather that he’d shy away from talking about her entirely, considering how traumatized he was by the relationship. The trauma, however, was not caused by Kim.
Pete Davidson allegedly landed in trauma therapy during the romance after Kanye West launched a sustained campaign to harass him. West lambasted Davidson on Twitter, threatened him, and urged his fans to “scream” at him if they saw him out and about. West’s 2022 song “Eazy” included violent imagery directed at Davidson. The situation became so intense that Davidson was reportedly not sleeping. Kanye’s behavior is considered one of the reasons he and Kim split.
Everyone has moved on since, with Kardashian now dating Lewis Hamilton and Davidson navigating a split from Elsie Hewitt. Still, it’s nice to know the respect remains.
