In fact, he’s so sure that dating apps are making things worse that he thinks the younger generation might be doomed when it comes to finding love.

Finding love online has become more mainstream in recent years, but Pete Davidson doesn’t think it’s led to all that many connections. In fact, he recently revealed that he believes young people have “no shot” when it comes to dating thanks to the apps. During an interview with Variety, Davidson reflected on finding love in the digital age.

The comedian takes issue with how quickly you can write people off on dating apps. He lamented, “Dating apps are just so dismissive. It’s just like, ‘No. Yes. No.’ That’s so rude.” Davidson reflected on the past, noting that he only had a flip phone when he was a teen, which made things nicer. He believes young adults might have a better chance at finding love if they take a step back from technology.

Davidson, 31, was born in 1993. The first iPhone was released in 2007. While online dating existed before Tinder, the app released in 2012 is largely considered the biggest game changer in online dating yet.
