It’s been a busy few days for Pink. The So What” songstress took to the set to fill in for Kelly Clarkson on The Kelly Clarkson Show just days after using her Instagram feed to swat down rumors that she and her husband, Carey Hart, had broken up. During her appearance, Pink revealed that the Hart family had recently moved to New York City. She even offered up a reason for the cross-country trek. It has nothing to do with relationship issues.

Willow, who turned 14 in June, apparently dreams of being on Broadway. The teen has performed a handful of times alongside her mother. Her voice is just as showstopping as her mom’s, argue some fans. Along for the ride is Pink and Hart’s younger child, Jameson. While he doesn’t appear to have Broadway dreams at the moment, the colder weather appears to bode well for his interest in winter sports. Hart has been posting photos of the nine-year-old on the ice and out in the snow in recent months.

Pink and her kids seem to be acclimating well to the new locale. Carey Hart appears to be having a harder time adjusting, especially when it comes to the weather. He’s been posting photos of New York City on Instagram since September. While he enjoyed the fall weather, the winter and its blizzards didn’t seem to sit well with him.

Pink assures fans that the move isn’t about a split or a career move

Pink seems to be thriving in New York City. Still, she swatted down theories that she had moved to the Big Apple to take over Kelly Clarkson’s job. During her guest hosting duties, Pink took some time out to announce that she was not planning to take over Kelly Clarkson’s show. Clarkson is ending the series in the fall. She quipped that if she wanted a talk show, she wouldn’t need to audition for one. The songstress prefaced the revelation by throwing shade at the “sources” who have been spilling false tea about her.

Just days before she took on the guest host role, rumors began circulating that Pink and Carey Hart had quietly separated. An insider told People that the couple were living separately and were ready to divorce. It didn’t take long for Pink to pop up on Instagram to reveal that she was 100% unaware that her marriage was in peril. She dismissed the rumors as false and made it clear she was not pleased.
