While the drama had quieted down briefly, the bitter feud was reignited when former Teen Mom 2 stars, Evans and Eason, formally split their marital assets. Jenelle Evans is currently crashing out on social media, and Heatwole has responded. Their most recent verbal sparring session centers on Maryssa Eason, David Eason’s eldest child. Jenelle Evans and Kenleigh Heatwole argue over Maryssa Eason

Jenelle Evans and David Eason might have signed off on most of their personal business, but that doesn’t mean they like each other. In fact, Jenelle seems more bitter than ever before, and she is taking her feelings out on anyone she can. Her most recent online feud with David Eason’s girlfriend, Kenleigh Heatwole, started when Heatwole shared a birthday post about David’s eldest daughter, Maryssa Eason. The battle played out on X (formerly Twitter).

Jenelle took the post as a slight, claiming people should “wonder” why he’s close to his older daughter and not his youngest, Ensley Eason. Kenleigh shot back, claiming Jenelle was “never there” for Maryssa Eason and went on to claim David’s ex facilitates a relationship between David and Maryssa. Jenelle refused to leave the social media feud there. She shot back with a list of things she provided for the teen while she was married to David Eason.

‘Teen Mom’ fans aren’t thrilled with the argument

Teen Mom fans love a bit of drama in the off-season. Jenelle Evans and Kenleigh Heatwole’s argument over Maryssa Eason isn’t it, though. Sure, it’s always fun to see someone get under Jenelle’s skin. Still, Reddit fans note that the argument over the teen feels especially petty and a bit exploitative. Both Jenelle and Kenleigh are in the wrong here. Jenelle had no reason to lash out, and Heatwole appears to be spewing mistruths.

Reddit users heavily doubt the positive influence Jenelle claims she had on the teen. Several fans also note that Jenelle’s crashout has nothing to do with Maryssa and everything to do with David’s seemingly happy home. At the same time, they note that Heatwole is basing her aggressive tweets on information provided by David Eason, as she didn’t know David, Maryssa, or Jenelle when they were all living together. Her need to continue arguing with her boyfriend’s ex-wife feels more than a bit petty, especially after her Las Vegas prank didn’t garner the attention she was hoping for.

David Eason has not weighed in because he isn’t legally allowed to, though some fans are convinced he’s actually behind most of Heatwole’s posts directed at Jenelle. This is not the first time the former lady and current lady in David Eason’s life have had words. We imagine it won’t be the last.

Where did Maryssa Eason live?

Jenelle Evans seems to think she deserves some level of gratitude from Maryssa Eason. Still,Teen Mom fans remain unclear about what role the mother of three actually played in the teen’s life. While Maryssa Eason did not regularly appear on Teen Mom, she did live with Jenelle and David for many years.

According to several sources, Maryssa Eason moved in with Jenelle Evans and David Eason in 2017, after David was awarded primary emergency custody. Jenelle recently revealed she bankrolled the legal fight to remove Maryssa from an untenable living situation. Jenelle also claims to have paid for her schooling. In another tweet, she said she provided her with a room and furniture, and financially supported her for years, as well. She remained with the couple until they split in 2024. The teen appeared to continue living in the home even after David Eason moved out. She was asked to leave after Jenelle filed for legal separation. It’s unclear where she moved after being asked to leave.
