Prince William and the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) have released their family’s annual Christmas card.

The 2025 card shows the couple and their three children sitting in grass together while smiling and dressed casually in sweaters and jeans.

Kensington Palace shared the photo on social media with the caption, “Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas.”

The family picture was shot by photographer Josh Shinner in Norfolk last spring. It appears to have been done at the same time the portrait for Prince George’s 12th birthday was taken as the future king is wearing the same shirt and vest.

Royal fans gushed over the photo online and agreed that the Waleses’ laid-back demeanor is meant to convey a “relaxed image.”

The past year was certainly better for the family and filled with more positives than 2024, as Prince William called that the “hardest year” of his life.

But in early 2025, things took a turn for the better as Kate announced she was in remission from cancer. A few months later, she and William celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary and in August, the pair announced that they were moving into their “forever home” at Forest Lodge in Windsor.
