Will Prince William and Kate’s Three Children Attend This Year’s Trooping the Colour?
It’s that time of year again when the U.K. marks the British monarch’s official birthday with a celebration known as Trooping the Colour. The event will feature hundreds of officers, horses, and musicians from the Household Division in ceremonial uniform. And several members of the royal family of course will be in attendance.
Leading up to the Trooping the Colour in 2024, there were questions about whether the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) would attend amid her bout with cancer. She did, and the princess is now cancer-free but many fans are wondering if she and Prince William‘s three children will make an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony this year.
Sources have just shared which royals are expected to attend Saturday’s festivities.
The Palace has not yet confirmed who will be in attendance, but sources told Express that this year’s event will “mirror last year’s.”
That means that joining King Charles and Queen Camilla on the balcony will be: Princess Anne and her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence; Prince Edward and his wife, the Duchess of Edinburgh (formerly Sophie, Countess of Wessex); the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester; the Duke of Kent; as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales and their kids, Prince George; Princess Charlotte; and Prince Louis.
Trooping the Colour 2025 will take place on June 14.
