Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson‘s ties and association with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has forever ruined their reputations, cost them their regal titles, and got them evicted from their Royal Lodge home in Windsor. Now, the fallout from their past sins have trickled down to their daughters as Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are banned from some upcoming royal family events and are finding their names in the headlines every day.

The sisters’ actions are now under a microscope as well as the behavior of their spouses, and that’s making news. Princess Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, was just called out by a former government minister who sat near Edo and observed him acting like a “disrespectful teenager” in church of all places.

With reports swirling about Edo and Beatrice spending so much time apart as his Instagram feed is loaded with pics of his days on beaches in the U.S. for business, author-turned-politician Nadine Dorries spoke about how she’s not surprised by any questionable behavior from Edo.

The former Conservative Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport told the Daily Mail that she recently went to a church service in the Cotswolds, which Edo also attended and “wasn’t surprised. I’ve had some experience with Edo myself. At a church service organized by a mutual friend, I found Beatrice and Eugenie and their husbands seated behind me. Edo was laughing loudly and generally behaving like a disrespectful teenager so that, at one point, I turned round and gave him the evil eye that only a woman my age — and a mother — can bestow.”

“To his credit, he got the message, pronto,” Dorries added.

This claim comes at the same time Edo and Beatrice’s friends had to defend the couple’s marriage after reports that things had gotten rocky because they were “navigating” the distance between them and could be headed for a divorce.

Their pals fired back, telling Hello! “The only thing Bea and Edo are navigating are their busy jobs and looking after their children! They’ve both had recent stints working abroad and like so many working parents, have been balancing work with looking after the kids. Recent reports that things aren’t good between them are not true at all. Things are great between them, and the only distance between them recently has been physical distance because of work!”

As for Beatrice’s parents, Sarah has been keeping a low profile and hasn’t been seen in public for months. And Andrew was arrested on Feb. 19, for suspicion of misconduct in public office. He was released several hours later.

After the former prince was taken into custody, King Charles released a statement about the disgraced royal that read, “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair, and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.

“In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and cooperation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.”
