The fallout from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s links and deep ties to Jeffrey Epstein cost them their royal titles and led to their eviction from Royal Lodge. Andrew has been staying at a property in Sandringham while his ex-wife is still trying to figure out her living situation, but Fergie won’t see a welcome mat at her youngest daughter Princess Eugenie‘s home.

Sarah and her son-in-law, Jack Brooksbank, have reportedly gotten along very well over the years, and she publicly sang his praises.

“Jack … is a man of such integrity. He’s just one of my most favorite people,” the former duchess said on BBC’s The One Show (per People). “I call him James Bond actually. He’s just a superhero in my book, and he’s a great father, a fabulous husband, and he’s never at front of house. He always likes to be at the back.”

But given how times have changed, even if Jack and Fergie are still close, that doesn’t mean he wants her to move in with him and Eugenie as that will put them in the “line of fire.”

The Daily Mail reported that Jack is not even giving Sarah the option to reside with him and the princess at their home in Portugal. One source explained that “Jack has worked very hard building his business, and it’s going well, so the last thing he needs is for the Epstein scandal to taint that.”

Despite being “concerned about her welfare,” Jack is “resisting any suggestion” that Sarah seek refuge at their home.

Princess Eugenie and her husband were married on Oct. 12, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. They welcomed their first son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, on Feb. 9, 2021, followed by their second son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, on May 30, 2023.
