Princess Eugenie’s Relationship With Her Father Andrew on ‘Brooklyn-Beckham Level’ Now; the Royal’s Friend Gives Update
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor lost his regal titles, his lavish royal residence, and other perks as he’s been banned from appearances with his family because of his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. It was recently reported that his association with the late convicted sex offender has greatly affected his relationship with his youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, as well.
It’s been claimed that Eugenie, who established The Anti-Slavery Collective to help counter sex trafficking, is upset by Andrew’s refusal to apologize to Epstein’s victims.
A source told the Daily Mail: “There is no contact at all, nothing. It’s Brooklyn Beckham level — she has completely cut him off.”
Now one of the princess’s friends is speaking out about that and how Eugenie’s been feeling in the wake of the Epstein scandal. They shared with the Mail that Princess Eugenie and her older sister, Princess Beatrice, have had a difficult time over the past few months seeing their parents removed from royal life.
They acknowledged Eugenie’s estrangement from Andrew now but don’t believe it will last forever, telling the publication, “Andrew’s main concern is that his daughters are not tainted by his difficulties, so he is keeping his distance from them. Bea and Eug feel very sorry for their parents … Both Andrew and Sarah [Ferguson] want their daughters to remain part of the royal family and were happy for them to spend Christmas in Norfolk.”
