Princess Love Says Ray J Needs to Check Into Rehab After Wild Gun-Wielding Dispute Lands Him in Jail

Princess Love is speaking out against Ray J since his chaotic arrest on Thanksgiving. The rapper’s estranged wife jumped on Instagram to break down exactly what happened in the early morning melee that involved Ray J brandishing a handgun. She also explained that the erratic behavior she has seen from Ray J in recent months, while co-parenting her children with her ex, is nothing new. She also laid out what she’d like to see happen moving forward.

Why was Ray J arrested?

Ray J spent part of Thanksgiving Day in jail in California. According to several reports, a domestic dispute involving an argument about custody arrangements led to a 911 call around 4 am on Thanksgiving Day. During the call, it was revealed that the rapper was brandishing a handgun while arguing with his estranged wife, Princess Love, and one of her family members.

Police were dispatched to the address where the couple’s two children, Ray J and Princess Love, were located. Ray J was arrested for making a criminal threat. It is a felony. He was bailed out just hours later, but will need to return to court to answer to the charges.

Hours after Ray J’s arrest, Princess Love took to Instagram to break down exactly what transpired between herself and her husband. According to TMZ, the mother of two revealed that she and Ray J were in the same house because she thought it was important for him to see his children for the holiday. Still, she said that she was uneasy about leaving them alone with him. She said he has been acting erratically, and that her children found him naked with a woman during one visit.

In the now-deleted upload, Princess Love went on to say she’s been raising her children solo, while Ray J “terrorizes” and “abuses” women. It’s unclear who she may be referring to aside from herself. Still, fans have an idea. He has been in the news lately for his ongoing legal battle with Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Many years ago, Ray J dated Kim Kardashian and was the other participant in her much-discussed sex tape.

She’d like to see him enter rehab

While Princess Love claims she has no interest in reconnecting with her very estranged partner. She does want to see him figure out his life and get help where needed, though. During her honest chat with fans and followers, she said she’d like to see the music artist enter rehab. Princess Love addressed Ray J directly, telling him he was “more than drunk” and encouraging him to get help.

While it’s unclear if Ray J has ever been in a rehab setting before, Princess Love is not the only person to indicate he could benefit from some help. Earlier this year, he took to a Livestream, visibly drunk, to discuss his plan to work with a life coach. Fans had been begging the rapper to seek treatment as his social media behavior grew increasingly erratic.

The couple remains legally married but estranged. While they have filed for divorce, again, it has not been finalized at this time. The duo has filed divorce paperwork multiple times in the past, only to reconcile, however briefly. Things appear to be much different this time, though.
