Priscilla Presley’s Lawyers Say ‘Shameful’ New Claims About Riley Keough Cross an ‘Ethical Line’
Riley Keough has been dragged into the legal battle between Priscilla Presley and her former business associates. Presley’s former business partners have accused her of fraud and sued for $50 million. In recent filings, they have also claimed that Presley’s granddaughter, Riley Keough, donated her eggs to John Travolta and Kelly Preston. Presley’s legal team fired back at the claims.
A recent filing claims John Travolta’s child is biologically Riley Keough’s son
In a Dec. 16 filing, Presley’s former associate, Brigitte Kruse, claimed that Lisa Marie Presley’s former husband, Michael Lockwood, told her that Travolta and Preston used Keough’s eggs to have their son. The filing went on to claim that Keough received a Jaguar and $10,000 to $20,000 for her eggs.
Attorney Jordan Matthews, who represents Kruse and Kevin Fialko, said Presley’s former associates didn’t want to release this information.
“Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko are heartbroken that they have been forced to file their most recent amended complaint,” he told Us Weekly. “They have been accused of horrific acts that are not supported by any evidence whatsoever.”
He added that, “Ms. Kruse and Mr. Fialko remain confident that the truth will prevail and trust that the courts will not favor one person over another simply because of one party’s celebrity status.”
In August 2024, Presley sued Kruse and Fialko for alleged financial elder abuse. They responded the following month by suing her for breach of contract.
Priscilla Presley’s legal team pushed back against the claims about Riley Keough
Presley’s lawyer, Marty Singer, fired back at Kruse’s recent filing. He said that this was an attempt by Presley’s former business partners to smear the family.
“After losing motion after motion in this case, and unsuccessfully seeking to have Presley’s counsel of record, Marty Singer, disqualified from representing her in this matter, Brigitte Kruse, Kevin Fialko, and their co-conspirators have demonstrated that there is no bar too low, no ethical line that they are unwilling to cross in an effort to cause further pain to Priscilla Presley and her family.”
He added that the allegations about Keough, Travolta, and Preston have nothing to do with the ongoing lawsuit.
“These recent outrageous allegations have absolutely nothing to do with the claims in this case,” Singer said. “The conduct of Kruse, Fialko and their new lawyers (they are on their fourth set of attorneys) is shameful, and it absolutely will be addressed in court.”
Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough also released a joint statement about the lawsuit
Despite rumors of a feud between Presley and Keough, they released a joint statement about the lawsuit in September.
“We are aware of the latest allegations from Brigitte Kruse,” they said in a statement, per People. “These claims are not only untrue but also deeply hurtful. Our family is, and always has been, united in love and respect for one another.”
They then added that they will remain a united front in the face of the lawsuit.
“Our shared priority remains honoring Lisa Marie’s memory and protecting Elvis’ legacy with dignity,” they said. “We will not allow outside voices to divide us or to diminish the strength of our bond as a family.”
