Amid continued discussion about Taylor Swift’s possible involvement in the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni case, a private eye reportedly attempted to serve her deposition papers. Police arrested the investigator at Travis Kelce’s home. While he hasn’t spoken much about the incident, he said he has concerns about losing his license.

A private eye reportedly tried to serve Taylor Swift deposition papers at 2 a.m.

According to reporting by Star, private investigator Justin Lee Fisher attempted to serve Swift deposition papers at Kelce’s Kansas home. Police arrested him outside the home at around 2 a.m. on Sept. 15. Court documents say he has been charged with hopping the fence onto private property in a private neighborhood.

Fisher was reportedly attempting to serve Swift deposition papers on behalf of Baldoni’s legal team. Earlier this month, Baldoni’s team claimed Swift agreed to be deposed. Swift’s team quickly refuted this, though.

While Fisher did not speak at length about his arrest, he admitted he has some concerns in the aftermath.

“I’ll be happy to talk to you about it when it is resolved,” he told Star via text message. “[I] wasn’t hurt or anything besides being arrested for doing my job and possibly losing my [private eye] license.”

Fisher is due back in court on Oct. 15.

The singer has not agreed to give a deposition in the case

Despite the alleged persistence of Baldoni’s team, Swift has, as noted, not agreed to sit for a deposition ahead of the trial.

“As counsel for the parties know, since the inception of this matter, we have consistently maintained that my client has no material role in this action,” Swift’s lawyer, Douglas Baldridge, wrote in a letter filed in federal court (per Rolling Stone). “Further, my client did not agree to a deposition, but if she is forced into a deposition, we advised – after first hearing about the deposition just three days ago – that her schedule would accommodate the time required during the week of October 20 if the parties were able to work out their disputes. We take no role in those disputes.”

Lively initially sued Baldoni, accusing him of sexual assault and launching a smear campaign against her. Swift became involved when Baldoni countersued. He claimed she was present at a meeting in which Lively made changes to the It Ends With Us script. Lively’s lawyers have slammed Baldoni’s team for bringing Swift into the fight in an effort to “generate a media spectacle in this matter.”

“The Wayfarer defendants have repeatedly sought to bring Ms. Swift into this litigation to fuel their relentless media strategy. In this latest effort, the Wayfarer defendants assert – though, notably, without evidence – that Ms. Swift has supposedly ‘agreed’ to sit for a deposition sometime between October 20-25, some three weeks after the close of fact discovery in this matter,” Lively’s lawyer, Michael J. Gottlieb, wrote.

Taylor Swift has had concerns about stalkers ahead of the incident with the private eye

Swift’s security is always of concern to her, particularly after recent incidents with a stalker. Her alleged stalker, Brian Jason Wagner, has seemingly disappeared. He has not responded to phone calls or legal filings.
