There have been questions for a while now surrounding King Charles‘ health.

In 2024, the monarch was hospitalized when he underwent a procedure for an enlarged prostate. Days later, the Palace announced: “During the king’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”

The king never disclosed what type of cancer he had, but did reveal that he was receiving treatment. That treatment is reportedly ongoing, which has prompted some concern, especially since he’s been continuing his royal engagements and visits abroad.

Now, as the king gears up for one of the biggest days on the royal family‘s calendar, a psychic has read his Tarot and says he may actually be “overdoing it and overextending himself.”

What is Trooping the Colour?

Trooping the Colour is one of the biggest days of the year for the royals as it’s a celebration of the monarch’s birthday. King Charles’ actual birthday is Nov. 14, but the ceremonial event and parade performed every year is held on the second Saturday in June to mark the official birthday of the British Sovereign.

Paul Burrell began working for the royal family when he was 18 years old and served as Queen Elizabeth II’s personal footman. In 1987, he was moved to then-Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s household. When they divorced, he continued to work as the princess’s butler until her death in 1997.

Speaking on behalf of Prime Casino, Burrell shared with Showbiz Cheat Sheet that Trooping the Colour is “the second most important day in the royal calendar after Remembrance Sunday. It’s the day when we as a nation really celebrate our monarchy, because it’s the king’s official birthday, as it was the queen’s official birthday. Everyone who is able to attend, will attend.

“There’s a three-line whip for Remembrance Sunday and for Trooping the Colour. Trooping the Colour and the appearance on the balcony is very important, not only for the royal family; it’s important for the nation. It’s the day we see our royal family on show, and they have to perform, and that’s what they do. As do the armed forces, led by the mounted division of the household cavalry, we get to see them, close up and on show, and very visible.”

This Tarot card shows up when people struggle to self-regulate, so the king may be feeling exhausted if he’s been overdoing and overextending himself. Those around him could tell him that he needs a rest, but the King doesn’t care to listen.”
