Christine Brown’s first solo memoir is scheduled for release in September. Ahead of the drop, the mother of six is promoting the non-fiction offering, and she’s picked a pretty juicy excerpt to share on Instagram. Recently, Christine took to Instagram to share a brief moment from recording her audiobook, and it’s all about how Kody Brown chose Robyn Brown over his other wives again and again.
In the short video, Kody’s former third wife revealed that Kody went home to check on Robyn Brown and her three children before meeting up with her while she was in labor with their sixth and final child. In the excerpt, Christine reveals that the Sister Wives camera crew followed Kody as he popped in on Robyn, offered her a big smooch, and then, reluctantly, left to join his laboring wife. It’s a moment that Sister Wives fans have questioned for years, as it was first seen in season 1 of the controversial TLC series, and set the tone for Kody’s treatment of Truely Brown.
The shared excerpt has fans excited for Christne’s book. It suggests that she held nothing back and likely dragged her ex-husband and his current wife in the memoir. Fans have always wanted the juicy details. They sensed the inequity in the Brown family’s polygamist marriage years before the wives uttered a word about it. Kody and Christine Brown’s relationship timeline
Christine and Kody Brown married in 1994, one year after Kody took his second wife, Janelle Brown. Kody has given various reasons for adding a third wife to the mix. Still, many fans suspect he married Christine for the social clout of her family name. Despite a rocky start, the pair were married until 2021. Christine requested a divorce and relocated to Salt Lake City by November 2021.

TLC has not yet announced whether Sister Wives will return for another season or if the show has been canceled. Christine’s book, Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family, and Finding Freedom, will be released on Sept. 2.
