Cory Wharton Crashes Out On Social Media, Threatens Fans Following Taylor Selfridge Split
Cory Wharton and Taylor Selfridge have seemingly split. The Teen Mom stars spent eight years together and have two children, but that wasn’t enough to get Wharton to commit.- Fans have been critical of the relationship for years, citing Wharton’s reluctance to marry Selfridge as a significant red flag. While Wharton didn’t seem to want to marry Selfridge, he appears to be unraveling now that they’ve ended their romance. At the very least, he’s crashing out on Twitter.
Cory Wharton crashes out following split from Taylor Selfridge
While Taylor Selfridge has opted to stay mostly quiet since the presumed split, Cory Wharton is opting to feel all of his feelings on social media. What he has posted, however, may not be beneficial to his overall image. Wharton, who already has a pretty large group of critics, has been using X (formerly Twitter) to lash out at fans and followers who are discussing the split.
In what feels like a bit of a crash out, Wharton said, “Everybody talking out they a** like you think we tell you what goes on behind closed doors naw. You all see what we want you to see idiots.” He went on to repeatedly accuse followers of wanting to see him fail. He claimed there were followers who needed their “a** whooped.” He has since deleted the tweets, but the damage is largely done. Followers shared screenshots of his crash out on Reddit.
While Wharton absolutely unloaded on fans, he did not provide any additional details bout the split. He did not mention why things had gone south or when they decided to call it. Selfridge hasn’t answered any questions, either.
When did they call it quits?
It is unclear when Taylor Selfridge and Cory Wharton officially called it quits, but fans were quick to notice trouble over the weekend. At some point in the last week, they unfollowed each other on social media. Wharton took to Instagram to post cryptic stories, further fueling the rumors.
While the former flames just unfollowed each other, it appears there was likely trouble in the romance weeks ago. While Selfridge commemorated Mother’s Day, she opted to use photos from March, and Wharton was not featured. He hasn’t appeared in any of her posts since Valentine’s Day. Wharton revealed they were having problems before he traveled to Bali, which suggests they might have closed the door on their relationship in late April or early May. Wharton was in Bali earlier this month.
