Jenelle Evans Open to Having More Kids in the Future Despite Tubal Ligation
Jenelle Evans apparently isn’t against the idea of having more kids despite having a tubal ligation performed several years ago. The former Teen Mom 2 star recently discussed her family plans, and while she doesn’t foresee adding more kids to the mix, it is something she is open to. As for how it would happen, Evans would consider in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Jenelle Evans isn’t entirely opposed to having more children
Jenelle Evans announced that she had a tubal ligation in 2019 after experiencing chronic pain. The announcement seemed to suggest her childbearing journey had come to an end. Several years and one divorce later, Evans is no longer completely sure she’ll never have another child.
The 33-year-old Evans sat down with E! News last week to discuss what is going on in her life, and the topic of pregnancy came up. While Evans noted that she had her “tubes tied,” she also suggested she wasn’t against the idea of having another child with the right partner. She told the outlet that while she’s done “for now,” she would be willing to discuss IVF if she met someone who really wanted to have children.
Jenelle Evans has three children. Her eldest son, Jace Evans, will be 16 in August. She welcomed her second son, Kaiser Griffith, with her ex-fiance, Nathan Griffith, in 2014. After their split, she met and married David Eason. Together, they welcomed a daughter, Ensley Eason. Eason and Evans split up last year.
Several ‘Teen Mom’ stars have said they are open to IVF
Jenelle Evans is open to the idea of starting an IVF journey for the right partner. She wouldn’t be the first MTV castmate to state she’d be open to that path. Mackenzie McKee and Khesania Hall allowed MTV to feature their IVF journey on the most recent season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. Mackenzie had a tubal ligation after the delivery of her third child, Broncs McKee. Despite that, she and Hall did have a successful IVF cycle. They welcomed twins, Ja’Kharie Angie and Ja’Meikah Angella Hall, on June 2.

Kailyn Lowry has waffled back and forth over the idea of IVF, especially now that she has seven children; still, she’s said she was open to it in the past. Lowry had a tubal ligation after welcoming her twins, Verse and Valley, but expressed regret almost immediately. Lowry has said she’d consider IVF to have a second daughter but has also suggested she’d be more likely to adopt than carry another child during an episode of her podcast, Almost Famous. She has six sons and one daughter.
