Joe and Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice hated each other. That is where The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans left off at the end of season 14. As the pause on the reality TV show has stretched on longer than anyone thought it would, time appears to be healing old wounds, or the Gorgas and Teresa Giudice are getting desperate. In recent weeks, both Teresa and her brother, Joe, have publicly discussed potentially reconciling. If they do ever get the family back together, Bravo is reportedly not interested.

Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga are both reconsidering their stances on each other

It has been more than a year since The Real Housewives of New Jersey aired its season 14 finale. At the conclusion, the Gorgas and Teresa Giudice were very much at war. They have warmed to each other in the months since then, apparently. Now, they’ve both openly suggested that they might be willing to work on their relationship. In September 2025, Teresa Giudice offered the first glimmer of hope that the siblings are not as dead to each other as it initially seemed.

In late September, Giudice appeared on Jeff Lewis Live and said she was totally open to being mature and “coexisting” with her brother and sister-in-law. It wasn’t an admission of fault, an apology, or even an enthusiastic interest in reconciling, but it was something. Weeks later, rumors began swirling that Giudice texted her brother after her time on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test gave her a new outlook.

While Joe Gorga did confirm he had received correspondence from his sister, he didn’t go into detail. He did say he was open to reconciling, under some conditions. Gorga sat down for a chat on The Eds and spilled the tea. During the October 14 episode, Gorga said he’d be open to having a conversation with his sister if she came to the table humbly. He insisted that he is willing to accept an apology and move forward.  He, however, didn’t seem particularly interested in taking any of the blame. We think that could be a problem for Giudice.

Bravo isn’t interested in filming the brother and sister mending fences

If Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga finally do get around to mending fences, they’ll be doing it in private. Neither Giudice nor Gorga has requested privacy, but rumors have it that Bravo has grown tired of their antics. An insider connected with Radar Online and opened up about the potential reconciliation. The insider, who was not named, claims Bravo has no interest in following along as the family attempts to work things out yet again.

The insider said the production team has made it clear that, regardless of what happens between Teresa and her brother, they won’t be there to capture it. While talk of a reconciliation could very well be a publicity stunt, it still won’t be filmed. That’s kind of a bummer, if we are being honest. After so many years of back and forth with the Gorgas and the Giudices, it would be nice to see a conclusion. We don’t even care how fake it might be. At the very least, it would be entertaining to see them stammer through apologies.
