‘RHOBH’: Kyle Richards Told to ‘Step It Up’ as Season 15 Cast Is Finalized
Ahead of the 15th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards is reportedly preparing to make some changes. Richards has been a cast member on the show since its premiere in 2010 and is preparing to appear in the latest season. Producers have reportedly given her a “big incentive” to return, but have told her she needs to “step it up.”

The cast members for season 15 of RHOBH have reportedly been given their contracts already. A source confirmed to the U.S. Sun that Richards will be returning after being on the fence about it.
“Kyle was the big question mark for the longest time but she is coming back,” they revealed. “Producers offered her a big incentive to come back, so she is.”
While the job might come with an attractive paycheck, Richards reportedly has to bring it for her fifteenth season. She has been hesitant to reveal parts of her life on camera, and producers want her to step it up.
“She’s had long talks with production about what she is willing and not willing to show,” the source added. “She knows, basically, she has to step it up next season.”
Richards navigated her split from her husband Mauricio Umansky in the show’s fourteenth season. She is rumored to be dating country singer Morgan Wade, but Richards has remained tight-lipped on the subject.
“She says she’s showing as much as she can without hurting those around her,” the source said. “But fans want to see more of her personal life, which includes her dating life.”
Richards has noted that she is exploring her sexuality, but has not confirmed her relationship with Wade.
The latest season will reportedly see changes to the cast
Cast members Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Erika Jayne, and Bozoma Saint John will also reportedly return. Garcelle Beauvais exited the series, so new women could join the cast.
“There are absolutely going to be changes to the current cast, some of which will shock fans,” a source told OK! Magazine. “A main cast member is going to be let go, a ‘friend of’ is going to be cut, and another person is going to be downgraded to a friend — at least that’s the current word on the street.”
At this point, though, these are just rumors.
“Of course, casting can always change,” the source said, “so nothing is set in stone.”
Kyle Richards considered walking away from ‘RHOBH’
Richards is the show’s longest-running cast member, a position she never expected to hold.
“As more time goes on, I did not think I’d be here,” Richards told Parade. “I remember thinking, year five, I’d be out. Here I am going on year 15, so of course, that day will come. It just depends on how I’m feeling at the time and if I can handle it anymore.”
Richards is also an actor and hopes to focus more on this in the future.
“I was really happy to come back to the Halloween franchise and do my other guest roles here and there, and I just did something else recently on another show coming out on Netflix … I won’t always be doing reality television, but I hope to always be acting and producing television like I’ve been doing, and that’s what brings me the greatest joy.”
