‘RHOSLC’: Bronwyn Newport Is ‘Really Not Interested’ in a Relationship With Lisa Barlow After 1 Pivotal Moment
Despite agreeing on a truce, RHOSLC stars Bronwyn Newport and Lisa Barlow are still on bad terms. During the season 6 reunion, the two women continued to spar. Even before the contentious conversation, however, Newport said she had no interest in a relationship with Barlow. She shared how a moment after filming wrapped led to this decision.
Bronwyn Newport said she does not want a friendship with Lisa Barlow
Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City saw Newport and Barlow at odds. Newport said she sees almost no chance of reconciliation with her co-star. She doesn’t even know how she’d reach out to Barlow.
“I do not speak to Lisa,” Newport said during a pre-reunion interview with Bravo. “I mean, it would be hard for me to speak to Lisa. I believe she has me blocked on everything. I don’t know, but that’s the impression I get, because people have to screenshot me negative comments she says about me. I don’t actually see them in person.”
Even if she could reach out, Newport said she probably wouldn’t. Barlow’s lack of contact after the death of her father made Newport realize she wanted nothing to do with her.
“My dad passed after filming, and I heard from everybody on the cast, no matter where I stood with them at the end of filming, with the exception of Lisa,” Newport said. “And I think that kind of sums up why I’m just really not interested in anything from her at this point. If you don’t have sympathy for somebody who’s unexpectedly lost a parent, I’m really meaningless to you. And I don’t have people in my life who treat me that way, no.”
Bronwyn Newport said Lisa Barlow continued to speak badly about her husband after a truce
During the first part of the RHOSLC reunion, previously unaired footage showed Newport confronting Barlow about talking about her now-estranged husband, Todd Bradley, “nonstop.” The women had previously made a truce not drag their families into their disagreements.
“I don’t talk about your husband nonstop, but I can start,” Barlow responded. “Let’s talk about Todd Bradley, the dirty old man, Todd Bradley, the dirty, dirty old man.”
During the reunion, Newport accused Barlow of continuing to slam Bradley.
“Just the other week at BravoCon, a fan sent me a video of you talking about my husband, body-shaming him, talking about how fat he is, how small his penis is,” she said. “You didn’t just say one thing about my husband. You’ve been in TikTok comments, you’ve been on Twitter. You continue to this day.”
She added, “Imagine being at BravoCon where people love you and want to talk to you, and you want to talk about my husband’s d***.”
