‘RHOSLC’ Star Mary Cosby’s Ex Called Her a ‘Bully’: ‘She Wasn’t a Nice Person’
RHOSLC star Mary Cosby is the subject of a new bombshell documentary series. In the TLC documentary The Cult of the Real Housewife, those who have crossed paths with Cosby, including former members of her church, make shocking allegations against her. Cosby’s self-described former boyfriend, who was also a member of her church, claimed she had a nasty side to her in her adolescence.

Cosby is the first lady of Faith Temple Pentecostal Church in Salt Lake City. Her former boyfriend, Michael Enoch, was also a member. In The Cult of the Real Housewife, he claimed to have known Cosby since childhood.
“Mary was a bully,” he said (per Variety). “I remember Mary picking on certain girls and controlling them.”
Enoch said that as he grew older, he realized that Cosby’s behavior towards other girls was not kind, even if he didn’t think much of it in his adolescence.
“When you’re kids, you see these things and don’t think much of it,” he said. “But as an adult, you look back on it. And she wasn’t a nice person.”

Clearly, Cosby and Enoch’s relationship fizzled out. She is currently married to Robert Cosby Sr., the bishop of the Faith Temple Pentecostal Church. He is also her grandmother’s second husband.
Cosby’s grandmother founded the church in the 1960s and wanted the future reality star to take her place. The role came with the condition that Cosby marry her grandmother’s husband.
“Before she passed, she made it very clear that she wanted me to be the one to take her place in the church and inherit everything,” Cosby said in a confessional on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. “That came with homes, money, our church and also marrying her husband.”
The couple married in 1998, one year after Cosby’s grandmother died.
“Don’t think it wasn’t weird, because it was!” she said. “I did it because I trusted my grandmother. I’m so glad I did it.”

When asked about the documentary ahead of its release, Cosby described it as “sad and a shame.”
“It’s horrible, that’s what I think,” she said at BravoCon in November. “And it’s not true.”
After the release of the series, Cosby responded to the shocking allegations against her, which include extortion, abuse, and extramarital affairs. Former congregants of the Faith Temple Pentecostal Church have described it as a cult.
Cosby shared an Instagram video with pictures of herself and her castmates from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, as well as shots of her family. In the caption, Cosby wrote “#godfirst #love #you #blessed #don’t believe the Lies. Happy Sunday!!”
