Two weeks before they were killed inside their Brentwood home, the youngest Reiner took to Instagram to share photos of the family’s beach trip. The post included a video of Rob swimming with his daughter. The drop also included photos of Michele Singer Reiner looking happy and healthy. In one photo, she poses with another, unidentified woman. Another photo showed Michele Singer Reiner looking out he back of a boat. In the post, Romy said she was thankful for her family. It is unclear where the family was vacationing or who was on the trip. Based on the photos, they appeared to have a ball together.
Romy was clearly dialed into life with the Reiners and was proud of her famous parents. She shared an Instagram story connected to her dad just hours before the gruesome discovery inside her parents’ Brentwood home. In her most recent story, which was posted 17 hours ago at the time of publishing, the 28-year-old artist prompted followers to watch This Is Spinal Tap and Spinal Tap II: The End Continues. In an eerie twist, the flick was Reiner’s final directorial project. The Reiner family was all together on the red carpet for the movie’s premiere back in September. The younger Reiner posted the story at about 1 pm on Sunday, December 14. The Reiners were found inside their home at about 3:30 pm.

Police are currently investigating the deaths of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner. The director, 78, and the photographer, 68, were found dead inside their Brentwood home from what appears to be knife wounds. The LAPD is investigating the deaths as a double homicide. While details are not readily available, TMZ is reporting that the Reiners were found inside their home by one of their daughters. She then called for help. It is unclear if Romy Reiner or Tracy Reiner found the couple. Tracy Reiner is Rob Reiner’s daughter from a previous marriage.
