Royal Expert Breaks Down ‘Worrisome’ Thing About Prince Harry and Meghan’s Children After Duchess Is Accused of ‘Exploiting Them’
Meghan Markle has been busy promoting season 2 of With Love, Meghan. The series was released on the streaming platform on Aug. 26, but so far has pulled in dismal numbers.
In an effort to try and generate more buzz for her Netflix show, the Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram and shared several behind-the-scenes photos. A few of those pics in the carousel even featured her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. However, neither of their faces are seen as they have their backs to the camera, and in one Archie has a while heart emoji covering his face.
Meghan has her Instagram comments turned off, therefore no one can directly write anything about her post. But some have taken to X and other platforms with their thoughts, accusing the Suits alum of “exploiting” her two children to promote her show.
Now, a royal expert is wondering what Prince Harry thinks about his kids making more and more Instagram appearances on their mom’s social media account.

Hugo Vickers, who has authored several books about the royal family, told The Sun, that the Duke of Sussex “ought to be extremely annoyed” that his wife is pulling out all the stops and even putting their children out there to get people talking about her show.
“[Harry] ought to be extremely annoyed, Vickers said. “Obviously, I don’t know what he thinks, but I think he does what he’s told, probably. You know, what worries me much more, to be quite honest, is what the children themselves are going to think when they get a little bit older and they realize how they’ve been exploited.”
He added: “And, of course, they will also realize at a certain point that they’ve never met their grandfathers and that they have cousins in England who have rather an interesting life — something which they’ve been kept away from.”
It’s believed the last time King Charles saw Archie was when he was less than a year old, and he has never met Lilibet. Prince William, the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton), and their three children have reportedly never met Lilibet either.

As for Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, before moving to the Philippines, he resided in Rosarito, Mexico, which is located 10 miles south of the U.S.–Mexico border in the greater San Diego–Tijuana region. Even though he was only a five-hour drive from his daughter and son-in-law, arrangements were never made for Thomas to see Archie and Lilibet.
But Thomas did have a parting message for Meghan and the grandchildren he never met and will likely never meet.
“I don’t like some of the things my daughter has done, but I will always love her,” he told the Daily Mail. “My door is always open to her. I love her and that will never change. I’m not running away. I am going in search of a more positive life. Every day I see something about Meghan. This week it has been the new TV show. I wish her no ill will. My dream is that one day I could bring my whole family together, like a ‘normal’ family.”
