Parents at a Cotswold school were given a heads-up on strict school privacy rules. This came as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prepared to bring Archie and Lilibet to Britain for an extended stay. 

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield told Page Six, “The message sent to families essentially said that, from time to time, some families joining the school may attract a greater level of public or media interest.” 

According to Schofield, officials said they wanted every child to enjoy school life in “a safe, happy, and private environment.” Schofield added, “It then reminded parents and carers not to photograph or film other children without permission or share photographs, information, or details about pupils or their families on social media.” 

The timing quickly raised questions about Harry and Markle’s children. However, the outlet reported that they won’t attend the school that sent the letter. The school’s name is also kept under wraps for privacy reasons. 

A source told Schofield that the Sussexes had “approached multiple schools” before moving to Britain. Harry and Markle quit royal life in 2020 and headed for North America. On January 8, 2020, they said they wanted to “step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family. 

They eventually put down roots in Montecito, where they raised their two kids for six years. Now, the family is heading back across the Atlantic for an “extended period.” A source told Page Six that King Charles was a big reason behind it. 

Even Harry wants Archie and Lilibet closer to their grandfather, too. Charles had also been told about the plans days before the move. The royal couple left California on August 25 and landed in Britain the next day. A source said they flew privately with Archie, Lilibet, and their dogs. 

They chartered a Planet 9 jet from Los Angeles to Birmingham for more than $120,000. Meanwhile, Hedge fund billionaire Ian Wace reportedly helped them with their UK move. Harry and Markle had been house-hunting in the Cotswolds earlier this year. 

Royal commentator Tom Sykes told the same outlet that a friend of Harry’s had tipped him off about the search near Highgrove House. He said, “Obviously, that’s where he grew up, living with his father and brother there, and has happy memories.” 

Highgrove House is Charles and Queen Camilla’s country residence. Prince William also lives at Forest Lodge in Windsor with Kate Middleton and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. 

George is expected to begin his studies at Eton College on September 9. The famous school sits across the River Thames from Windsor Castle. Meanwhile, Charlotte and Louis attend Lambrook School nearby. Recently, the Daily Mail reported on the Sussexes’ Cotswold house hunt. 

The publication wrote, “Meghan wants nine bedrooms and a film studio” for their new home. Harry, meanwhile, was said to want “a lot – and I mean a lot – of land, and no footpaths going across it to protect their privacy.” 

The report said the couple had an agent involved but had not yet bought a property. Royal author Paula Froelich spoke to Tom Sykes on The Royalist podcast about Harry and Markle’s reported plans in the U.K. She said, “There’s a buzz about a ‘return to the U.K.’ series, if you will.” 

She added, “And that is getting louder and is coming from all parts of the industry.” Froelich then said, “I am hearing that there is an active project.” She also floated possible titles, including “Finding Freedom: The Return,” “Harry and Meghan: Part Deux,” and “The New Life.”
