Meghan Markle is reportedly “not interested in following” Prince Harry “around like some Stepford wife.” A source told HeatWorld that she doesn’t want to trail Harry from one event to another. Instead, the couple is choosing to “divide and conquer.”

According to the insider, Markle is focusing on her kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, along with her As Ever brand. Harry, meanwhile, is “running from one gig to the next” since the family has returned to the U.K. First, Harry attended a Save the Children event at Imperial College London. That same evening, he headed to the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich for the Invictus Spirit Awards.

The next day, on September 18, Harry was in Birmingham. He visited Ninestiles School for the launch of the Invictus INSPIRE program. Harry attended the WellChild Awards ceremony in London on September 21. He then headed to New York.

On September 23, he appeared at the Clinton Global Initiative. He also appeared at the Skift Global Forum that day as the founder of Travalyst. Harry attended an event for the Okavango Eternal conservation project. He appeared alongside Botswana President Duma Boko and National Geographic explorer Dr. Steve Boyes.

Harry also made a surprise appearance at a Diana Award panel in New York. On September 25, Harry traveled to Ontario, Canada, for a charity skydive. The Duke is also reportedly “working all his contacts” to find new opportunities. It’s also not just for him, though.

“He wants to open doors for Meghan too, he promised her he would,” the source claimed. However, their different schedules have reportedly cut into their time together. The source said they’re “spending a lot more time apart than either of them would like.”

Meanwhile, Harry also has his Royal family problems to deal with. The insider called it the “constant headache of trying to navigate the situation with his family.” The source claimed Harry has “a whole lot more pressure on his shoulders” and “absolutely zero time to himself.”

Once work wraps, Harry reportedly heads home to help with the children. “The moment he’s free from work he’s got to rush home to give Meghan a break from parenting duties,” the insider said. Still, the couple went for lunch at The Falkland Arms, a 16th-century pub in Great Tew, Oxfordshire, on October 1.

They were photographed walking in together and holding hands. It was their first photographed joint outing in the U.K. since the family moved back. Markle wore sunglasses, a black sweater, dark pants, and white sneakers. Harry went with jeans, a jacket, sunglasses, and a Santa Barbara Fire Department baseball cap.

They also reportedly ordered classic pub food. Markle had gluten-free beer-battered haddock and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce. Harry went for chicken, ham, and leek pie with seasonal greens, mashed potatoes, and gravy. The pub reportedly treated them just like any other customers. According to The Sun, “Harry and Meghan just acted like locals.”
