Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are back in England. But Victoria Beckham reportedly doesn’t want to see them. The couple returned to the U.K. on August 26 and reportedly headed to the Cotswolds. It’s home to stars like Kate Moss, Hugh Grant, and Liam Gallagher, with some royals living nearby too.

Markle reportedly visited Soho Farmhouse, a private club loved by local celebrities. Victoria is also a regular there. So could they end up crossing paths? Markle and Victoria reportedly became friends through Harry and David Beckham. The Beckhams even attended the Sussexes’ 2018 wedding.

Markle reportedly supported Victoria’s fashion brand by wearing her designs at public events. She wore a deep navy Victoria Beckham coat on Christmas Day in 2018. Markle later wore a brown silk shirt from the brand during the Sussexes’ 2024 Colombia trip. She wore the shirt at an event in Bogotá.

Their friendship reportedly fell apart in 2018. Author Tom Bower told news.com.au that Harry accused David or Victoria Beckham of leaking stories about Markle. David was reportedly angry after the alleged call. An insider told Heatworld that the former friends once discussed working together.

“There was a time when Victoria and Meghan were as thick as thieves. There was even some talk when they were friends that they might team up on a project, so to now be completely out of touch is pretty sad,” the source stated.

The insider added, “It is very sad from both Meghan and Harry’s perspective that things have fallen apart so badly with the Beckhams because they genuinely feel that what happened in the first place was more of a misunderstanding than anything else; they certainly never expected it to be a reason for David and Victoria to ghost them and end an entire friendship.”

The insider also claimed, “They have both tried very hard to fix things, and there’s been nothing in return, not even a welcome back message.” So, “the Beckhams’ stance has become even more clear since she and Harry arrived back in England.”

The tipster noted that Markle would have liked Victoria’s advice for her lifestyle brand, As Ever. The source then said, “She’s in a position with her brand where she could really use Victoria’s help. In an ideal world, Meghan would love to have Victoria as a mentor, but instead, she’s got her as an enemy; it’s no wonder she’s bitter about this.”

The report claimed Harry and Markle fear Victoria could use her showbiz connections against them. “What’s worst is the fear that Victoria could go so far as to sabotage Meghan’s chances in the UK since there’s obviously some pretty bad blood on her part,” the source claimed.

The story also linked the rift to Prince William. David and Victoria reportedly became closer to William and Kate Middleton. The source said, “Anyone that’s friendly with Harry and Meghan is automatically seen as an enemy by William, and he and Kate are the next King and Queen.” So, “it makes a lot of sense that David and Victoria would want to be Team Wales and do whatever William asks.”

According to the insider, Harry and Markle “still feel that they were very unfairly tossed aside.” It was “particularly bewildering” for the Duchess of Sussex “because she genuinely idolised Victoria and was so thrilled to be her friend.” She could avoid the issue in California because they rarely crossed paths. Now in England, “that’s not easy to do.”
